Dillon, S.C., June 12, 2013: Dillon Motor Speedway hosted $20 Car Load Night along with four features on Saturday, June 8.

Ryan Hall took the checkered flag for the fourth week in a row after outrunning one of the largest Late Model fields in the history of the speedway. Justin Hicks led the first 31 laps, but after Ryan Hall made the pass on the low side in turn one on lap 32, he never looked back.

There were a string of three cautions from laps 37-39 that set the field up for a wild finish. The most notable accident occurred when strong race contenders Justin Hicks and Strom Altman collided in turn one on lap 39, ending both of their nights.

Archie Adams Jr. finished second, and Averitt Lucas finished third. Chad Lockemy had a very strong run as he brought his car home in the fourth position. Clint Mills rounded out the top-five.

The Charger feature was certainly a sight to see as William Haynie and Jason Calhoun spent the last half of the race side-by-side, swapping the lead. In the end, Calhoun took the checkered flag, and William Haynie finished second with power steering issues. Brian Owens finished third, followed by Michael Green and recent Clemson University graduate, Anthony Adams.

For the second weekend in a row, Kent Harper finished second to Jeff Melton in the Street Stock division. Both drivers have been hardnosed competitors this season, and have dominated the division. Wayne Locklair finished third, and Charles Hutto finished fourth. Brian Thomas had an impressive run as he crossed the finish line in the fifth position.

Brent Bullard led all but one lap to take the checkered flag in the Pure Stock Four feature. Josh Youmans finished second, David Phillips third and Andy Norton finished fourth.

On Saturday, June 15, Dillon Motor Speedway will host the Black’s Tire Service 200. Once again, there will be a $500 bounty on Late Model driver, Ryan Hall. There will also be a $500 to win Charger feature. Other divisions competing include, Ford Flatheads, Mini Cup Stocks and Pure Stock Fours. The green flag will fly at 8 p.m.
