Coming off a top-five finish in the Courtesy Chevrolet 150 presented by Clark Signs & Graphics at Lonesome Pine Raceway, Devin Jones and Young’s Motorsports now shift their focus to the next UARA-STARS race at Anderson Motor Speedway. Jones has driven the #35 VeriStor Systems machine to top-ten finishes in all four UARA-STARS races this season, he is one of only five drivers to do that this year.

“I feel like our team is really starting to work well together,” said Jones. “The #35 VeriStor Ford has been fast off the trailer throughout the season. David King along with all the guys at Young’s Motorsports have been working hard and all that effort is beginning to pay off with our top-five finish at Lonesome Pine last race.”

Jones is always one to watch when the tour stops in Anderson, South Carolina. In the summer event last year at Anderson Motor Speedway, Jones lead laps and finished second with a bus-load of employees from his sponsor VeriStor cheering him on. Anderson has always been one of Devin’s favorite tracks, he has won many races on the ⅜ mile oval.

“Anderson is a race I always have circled on the schedule,” said Jones. “I’ve had a lot of success there in Super Late Models, Legends cars and we proved we can contend for the win there in a Late Model Stock last year. There is something about the track that just suits my driving style, I really enjoy racing there.”

Devin, along with his sponsor VeriStor, will be racing to support the current Miss Georgia USA 2013, Brittany Sharp at Anderson this weekend. Brittany will be competing for the title as Miss USA 2013 on Sunday, June 16th. Live coverage of the competition begins at 9:00 p.m. EST on NBC. VeriStor and Devin wish Brittany the best of luck!

UARA-STARS Sunoco Pole Qualifying will take place on Friday, June 14th, at 5:45pm. The on-track autograph session will begin at 7:10pm with racing action starting at 8:00pm. If you can’t make it to the track be sure to tune into MotorsportsBroadcasting.com to watch the UARA 150 online. Updates from the track can also be found on Devin’s twitter, www.twitter.com/devinjones35 and his Facebook, www.facebook.com/devinjones35.
