Gaulding Is Eager Heading The Old Greenville Pickens Speedway

jpeg-3Mooresville, NC (March 20, 2013) Gray Gaulding and the #20 Krispy Kreme TruMoo Milk Toyota team head to Greenville Pickens Speedway for the Kevin Whitaker 150 this weekend. This will mark Gaulding’s second trip to the 68 year old facility, Gaulding and the Krispy Kreme TruMoo Milk Toyota team tested at Greenville Pickens in preparation for the UNOH Battle at the Beach earlier this year.

Gaulding who is coming off a 6th place finish in last weekend’s NASCAR K&N Pro East season opener at Bristol Motor Speedway, heads into Greenville Pickens with an average starting position of 8th and average finishing position of 4.66.

Gaulding will be driving chassis 1880 this weekend in the Kevin Whitaker 150 which he most recently finished 2nd with in the UNOH Battle at the Beach at Daytona International Speedway.

“There is so much history at Greenville Pickens” said Gaulding. “They have had 29 cup series events there, and all the names down the back stretch wall just reminds you of the great pioneers who helped build this sport.”

Gaulding will take to the track for opening practice at 1PM for a 45 minute practice session. Final practice is scheduled for 2:15 and it is also a 45 minute session. Qualifying will be at 6PM with the green flagging dropping on the Kevin Whitaker 150 at 8PM.

Krispy Kreme known for its signature Original Glazed® doughnut has two location near Greenville Pickens Speedway, the closet is at 302 N. Pleasantburg Drive Greenville,SC . Gray and his #20 Krispy Kreme TruMoo Milk Toyota Camry will be making a stop by the Krispy Kreme shop at 1215 Woodruff Road Greenville,SC on Friday March 22nd at 5pm.
