Gray Gaulding Makes Career Start in NASCAR K&N Pro Series at Daytona International Speedway

Gray gray_gaulding_carGaulding will make the first stop of the 2013 NASCAR K&N Pro Series tour on February 19th at the “World Center of Racing” Daytona International Speedway. The NASCAR K&N Pro series will be running on a temporary four-tenths mile track located on the backstretch of Daytona International Speedway.

“Excited to be heading to Daytona (International Speedway) just a few days after my 15th birthday,” said Gaulding who will be 15 years, 9 days old when he takes the green flag for the NASCAR K&N Pro Series, Battle at the Beach. “Thank you to Krispy Kreme, TruMoo Milk, Toyota Racing, and everybody on this team for getting us to this point.”

“I have been very impressed by Gray and the entire team,” said Doug George, crew chief of the #20 Krispy Kreme Toyota Camry. “We tested a few weeks ago and everyone has jelled together and I am ready to get the season underway.”

UNOH Battle at the Beach will include two days of racing action among NASCAR’s three regional and touring series the schedule kicks off on Monday with one practice session for the K&N Pro Series from 12:10-1:30 pm along with the 150 lap NASCAR Whelen All American Series race. Action resumes on Tuesday final practice for the K&N Pro Series 12:10-1:30, a one hour autograph session beginning at 1:30, with qualifying races beginning at 4pm. Driver introductions are set for 6:30 followed by the 150 lap NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour race and the 150 lap NASCAR K&N Pro Series race at 8:30pm.
