Ames, Iowa (October 10, 2012) The #76 Lorz Motorsports Ford of Nate Caruth prepares for his first ever Winchester 400.  Caruth has had prior Winchester Speedway experience, but will be piloting his first ARCA/CRA Super Series Winchester 400. The 400 lap endurance race is a true test for every driver. The Iowa native will have his sight focused on the checkered flag, as he gets set for the high-banks of Winchester Speedway. Caruth said, “I am very excited to pilot the #76 Ford in such a prestigious race. We have had a good season, and look to capitalize on the 400 lap race.”

Winchester Speedway has a deep history, and built its roots on a strong racing foundation. After opening in 1916, the track continues its fast paced tradition of competitive racing. The short track appears harmless from the naked eye, but a true challenge is written on each straight away and 37 degree banked corner. Team owner Mike Lorz said, “I think Nate will be great at Winchester. It’s a fun track, but also very fast.” Caruth currently sits third in the 2012 Rookie of the Year Standings, “We have had a great season, and will continue to be a competitive force.”

Caruth added, “I’d like to thank my sponsors Brella Sports Group, Caruth Construction, and Carroll Construction Supply for a great 2012 season!” Support Caruth and the #76 Ford Lorz Motorsports team as they take on Winchester Speedway Sunday, October 14th.
